Gina Tolar, a native Houstonian, has over 25 years of experience in both studio and dance team, where she has taught, choreographed, adjudicated, and performed multple genres of dance. Gina is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, teacher, and dance team director. Before Belles, she was a sales representative for Leapin’ Leotards as well as owned her own Cottage In-House Bakery. In addition, Gina founded the Illusions Dance Team at George Bush High School in FBISD after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with top honors and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Prior to college, she attended Kempner HS where she was Co-Captain of the Cougar Brigade and danced for the Kathleen Parker Dance Studio. Gina is happy to be in her dream job, passing her passion of dance onto her students each day!

For Katherine McMullin, dancing has always been an act of personal discovery and learning. At the age of nine, Katherine began training in classical ballet. While attending high school she became a member of the Cy-Fair Bobcat Brigade and was selected to serve as a Senior Lieutenant Dance Officer. Following high school, Katherine attended Tyler Junior College where she became a member of the world famous Apache Belles. She became dance captain of the 64th Apache Belle Line and a two year member of that elite dance group. Following Tyler Junior College, Katherine attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where she became a member of their Texas State Strutter dance team. In 2014, Katherine graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance Education. While at Texas State she also became a member of the Delta Zeta Iota Alpha Chapter Sorority and the Rho Lamda honor society. Katherine is looking forward to being part of the Travis Dance Department as the Assistant Director of the Belles and Director of the Charms. Go TIGERS!!!
